past 5 days was away for LDP camp. and just learnt so much from it THANK GOD for this great camp, truely.
i was the man power ass-chief, incharge of giving man, power. hurrr =) my role was encouragement n communication wid the guys. before i went for the camp, i was rili scared, i felt tt i was not up to it, not able to command respect from 120 ppl. i prayed hard tt God would give me the confidence n stregth to do my role and not be afraid.
on the first day things were really chaotic. and i wasnt working that well, and still quite unconfident of myself. then, sree came to me, n gave me a short talk about confidence, encouragement n charisma. i said " im not a very charismatic guy". and he gave me an answer that really encouraged me, that really gave me the confidence to speak out- "charisma is not inborn". it was up to ME if i was to be charismatic. how i would talk to my tribe, if i had the confidence to express myself.
then, day after day, i improved, being able to joke around in front of the tribe, even act gay, lead cheers, and just grow in confidence, THANK GOD for this great lesson of leadership! i really THANK GOD for answering my prayer!
tru dis time i rili wana thank God for liu yi hu was such a great clan cheif, as well as kao n tim gay. we bonded really well din we =P every night staying up late to tock cok about our lives, and being able to work in harmony =) thank God for the friendships we had, the bonding we had, the tao poks we had, the "rapings" we had =P !!
der was only one thing i was unsatisfied with, was that tru the war, jaguars obeyed the point system and everything, but den, titans just rammed tru us, breaking basically every rule der was. den an instructor comes n asks us to do the same thing. i was ttly pissed off den, hus is he to tell us how to attack. and we wld also be breaking the rules, getting demerits. we did do the same thing. in the end, the point system was cancelled, which i was veri disapointed of. in the end it was a battle of aggresion. it really looked like a gang fight. the teachers said " no violence" tell me, when 100s of ppl charge at each other at full speed, injuries r unavoidable. i was very disapointed that it came to become a battle of brute force and aggresion rather than organization, morale and power, which the came was supposed to be about. leaders leading our men into battle, attacking and defending effeciently and intelligently, not being underground clans going for a gang fight. in the end titans won. altough we did get to their totem 1st, and they were hugging it, i have nthn to say. as long as we noe we did our best and did what was right =)
but i did enjoy the camp alot =D and i because of our night talks, usually going to the topic of our love life, i was ttly missing her, den telling myself " 5days will pass in a blink of an eye " LOL. i really reflected on what i was doing now when we were talking. and im still just gonna trust God and led Him guide me in this! and, now u can go listen to anberlin ! haha go go
on the last day when we departed, i was pretti crushed tt we wld be leaving our instructors hu encourage us, helped us, had fun wid us, talk dirty wid us. we said a veri big thank you and goodbye to dem. now got TECHNOLOGY! =D after tt went to je lib to meet lydia hahah! =D=D=D
