pride
i suddenly tought of how pride is a big part of the chaos in the world
japanese soldeirs or samurais or sthn always say "death before dishonor"
wad would they say when they come before their Maker?
sometimes i also let pride take control of me, when i refuse to lose, even tough i noe im wrong. the result? nothing but hate, relationship problems, hurt.
it is difficult to put down pride for some and just admit they are in the wrong. but it just takes that bit of humbling, to prevent a broken relationship, to prevent a fight, to prevent hurt and pain. the result is peace, and u have passed God's test =)
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble." James 4:6
something about maturing too. when one is a baby, there is no maturity at all. all he/she (ill just use he) cares for is his comfort and satisfaction, not caring at all about others around him. when u grow up, does ur mentality still remain like a baby? being greedy, selfish, hurting others so tt u can be satisfied. we were not put on dis place for enjoyment and self-satisfaction, altough i believe the greatest selfsatisfaction comes from serving God and others.
