THE SHELL
this morning at 8am, songs of worship filled the audi. most people didnt know how to react. the usual people critised, not finding anything better to say. many non-believrs just kept quiet. what bout the saved? not knowing if they should let their hearts out n sing n worship, or continue hiding in that shell, keeping that image, where its "safe" from persecution, from weird looks, from embarrasment.
this has been the problem in our sch, in our world for ages. believers, what happend to the fire and the zeal that is in us? what happened to the gratitude to our saviour? why are we hiding in shells? inside we wish to explode out, but are afraid. that people wll start to persecute u, that friends start to think ur weird. these same friends may fail the test on judgement day, into the fires of hell, forever, and ever. how will u regret not detroying this shell.
we already have been saved, we already have been garuanteed of our eternal happiness, and wont be staying here for long. the most impt thing left to do in short stay on this earth, is not our homework, is not our career, is not our passion, but saving lives. we are responsible for everyone around us.
but yet everyday we go to school, afraid to open our mouths afraid to seem lyk ur sum Jesus crazy guy hu is horribly overzealous. BUT WE SHOULD BE. or have we lost touch with that zeal? have we fallen in a test of faith? are we merely lukewarm christians who are not much different from the nonbelievers. that would be horribly sad.
fellow believers, i urge u, break out of your shells. we all have the same purpose in mind, but we need to join forces, and start a stronghold in whereever we are. so what if we are embarrassed, so what? so what if you cant keep that "cool" image? so what? does that matter to God? does that matter to ur purpose? we are all brothers in Christ, but yet fail to aknowledge each other as brothers.
break out of your shells
