IB ORIENTATION
ok ill just write down the parts that are most memorable
1stday
formed OGs, n wa pretty happy to hear tt alister su was my ogl. HAHA everything was so awkward and quiet! cuz no1 talked everyone was damn quiet and sian feeling. so during icebreaker games it was super awkward. the games n stuff werent very fun, maybe cuz we lost in alot of them lol. but dey did open us up a tiny bit.
2nd day
learned mass dance! tt one was fun. i partnered wid tze min. i love the step up part! was damn hip hop. n enjoyed myself a whole lot. OUTDOOR GAMES were insanely fun, n muddy, n dirty. and most importantly, it opened us up quite alot, cuz we were winning LOL. yea we actually started cheering n stuff.
3rd day
ok the most memorable thing during this orientation- the bboy battle during mass dance. ok, everyone did mass dance n were pretty hyped. then rongxin asked us to seperate into our sections for a dance off. but a bboy battle sumhow started. i tot it was a one on one at 1st xD since it was just greg der. so i walked in the middle n just started off. greg did 2 sets i tink, me n song had a set each. den after doing mass dance another time, we had a battle again! dis time it was longer and with a few other ruggers on his side, and wid all of kyensai on my side. IT WAS SO FUNNY and fierce battle at the same time, we were actually trying to burn each other lyk nuts. song got to pop, yh got to do his sick l back, xf tried his combos, i got to hit the last beat damn nicely n tycoly wid my headglide! LOL. okie, even tough no1 did his best, it was rili rili fun experience, feels lyk sthn out of u got served, wid 200 ppl on each side n bboys battling out. rili damn lucky had mount dover t cheer for us =)
the obastable course thingy later on wasnt rili tt fun, just freaking muddy n dirty! subject briefing was sleep fest. OG dinner was alright, at least ppl were talking! which was great, the horfun was damn good lah.
LastDay
definitely the best day for everyone, except the choir ppl hu missed out on all the fun =P it was some ACSiting race around marina to orchard, was really really fun. we followed alister's plan from the start- to relax n have fun lol. the games tt i remember -- finding 10 HOT ppl to take picture wid us, singing YOUR BEAUTIFUL to a random person, finding 3 ppl hu had t same name as 1 of our grp members, altough we cheated =P, dancing in frnt of fountain of wealth, RUNNING MATRIX STYLe at orchard paragon for like a minute. yea alot of the games were damn shameless n really fun. most imptly, today was the first time we had the time to talk to each other a whole lot! and seriosly, our group did bond today alot.
esply at the end, during tea. everyone was so noisy! and i tink we opened up to each other alot, and finally felt like a real og! the other og1 table was so crazy, drinking their sick concoctions. haha i have much more to say, but guess i wun blog about it =P OG ONE ROCKS!
