friday rules (:
fantastic day! i think i should start blogging abit more detailed haha. so since today is an eventful one, ill blog more about it.
got to school at 640 as per normal, got my regular cup of coffee n met vic in the sac, as she went fireac too. really liked today morning's session.
nothing much happened until pe. the usual ultimate slack lessons - chinese b, maths sl, art.. haha.
i got a perfect score for napha! i really thank God for that, since napha is actually harder now.
after lunch, and meeting up with the dance people, we wanted to go to the studio straight away, BUT it was filled with Chinese performing arts club people training for their syf...
so in the end, me, vic, fish, ama went up to outside the ib auditorium n guess what.. we just lay down n started sleeping. in the middle of nowhere. people walking by were quite stunned and all xD i woke up, vic woke up, so we decided to leave for the sac, with the 2 of them sleeping there. it was the funniest scene ever!
dance training was great! i was toprockin quite alot before training, i think i really improved it. we worked really hard on our peformance routine, n it has all come together now. yeah training was spastic- people were doing the skip step thing and butt spins.
after training, cheryl got me to go to great world, with sarina also who was meeting marcus there. it was fun! just talking during dinner, and getting to know someone i didnt know that well. we were supposed to spy on sarina! but cheryl suddenly had to leave cause her dad came. so i met up wid sarina n marcus, n just hung out for quite awhile- was really funny how sarina was getting suaned like crazy, especially when we walked past the restaurant with the aquarium >< cabbed home after that wid sarina-thanks for paying! =D
well it was a great day. i love talking to people n getting to know people. but something that really concerned me today is how easily we judge others, when we dont have a full story, and later on trying to convince others that a certain person is an idiot. today, heard both sides a story, and i came to be reminded, there are no bad or evil people in this world- seldom do we see people who think their way of life, their world paradigm is messed up. ultimately, we are all sinner, we are all in the same boat. our enemy is not each other but the devil who messes thing up.
think about this - everyone in the world, we see the world with the same two eyes, we are all human. we all feel, all our problems affect each of us equally much. you dont have to be christian to understand this empathy we should have for all of mankind.
for example this guy in school (just making it up) who seems weird and is not very social and thus people avoid him. in many peoples view point, its a perfectly normal thing to do, im sure many of us have done it before. now look at it through his eyes- u look around and see people in their cliques laughing and having fun, wishing you had somewhere to belong, but you can only sit at a corner of the canteen pretending that you are fine, when ur pride and confidence has been all broken.
thats just an example. so.. try to think from the viewpoint of someone else, maybe a teacher u dislike, maybe from dr ong, from a councilor, from the quiet guy in class. we need less judging and bitching in the school, we need more sincerity and empathy, I need more sincerity and empathy.
